GuideDoc & Pharmacy Department, Saint Vincent’s University Hospital highly commended at the 2022 Irish Healthcare Awards
We are delighted to announce that GuideDoc has been highly commended for the Best Use of Information Technology at the Irish Healthcare Awards.
The award was won in partnership with the Pharmacy Department at Saint Vincent’s University Hospital for our innovative use of technology to simplify access to the Saint Vincent’s Medicines Guide at the point of care.
The GuideDoc platform enabled the pharmacy team to meet the following objectives:
- Achieve a high uptake of usage of the medicines guide by clinical staff.
- Communicate guideline updates to users immediately.
- Ensure the solution is straightforward for content creators/editors to use and includes a version control system.
- Build dissemination reporting to measure usage.
- Support external reviews from JCI and HIQA assessments.
This recognition is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the St. Vincent’s pharmacy team and the GuideDoc development team.
We are proud to have been recognized for our efforts and will continue to innovate and improve the way that healthcare is delivered.
